Devlog Update: Project Raidar

This update brought a wave of new additions to Project Raidar! I implemented a win screen and a game over screen, with functionality that allows players to win by completing wave five or lose if their health reaches zero. I also added three Comrade tower variants—Rifle, Revolver, and Sniper—each with unique damage, speed, and range, along with their respective icons and buttons. Additionally, I introduced icons for future Comrades, like Shotgun, Flamethrower, and Grenadier, though their functionality isn’t complete yet. On the enemy side, I added twelve unique variants, split into basic and elite categories, with each having distinct health, speed, damage, and corresponding icons. These enemies include Soldiers, Super Soldiers, Wendigos, Werewolves, Zombies, and more!

On the updates side, I refined the functionality of all Comrades, adding editable parameters like bullet damage and speed. The barrels were replaced with arrow pointers, which now properly track enemies. I also added colliders to bullets, allowing them to deal damage on impact. Costs for each Comrade were adjusted, as was the money earned from defeating different enemies. The wave system received a major overhaul, allowing me to manually define which enemies spawn on each wave, their quantity, and their order, making progression more dynamic.

Finally, I resolved several issues. I fixed bugs related to barrel rotation, enemy damage registration, and the Comrades’ ability to fire. While I wanted to add more firing variations, technical challenges led me to simplify the Comrades to fire single bullets for now. Additionally, I resolved menu pop-up issues, ensuring smooth transitions when entering and exiting menus, as well as starting and stopping the game. These fixes and updates bring Project Raidar closer to a polished demo experience!
